An onsight visual assessment of the degree to which retailers who have alcohol or tobacco licences are targeting under aged consumers utilizing the 4 Ps of marketing:
Price - Is alcohol cheaper than non-alcohol? Are larger quantities of alcohol cheaper than smaller quantities? Are tobacco products on sale?
Product - Are single units of alcohol sold? Is there a brand more popular with underage youth offered for sale?
Promotion - Are they advertising drink special? Are there displays in non-alcohol or tobacco relation areas of the store?
Placement - Are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the same cooler? Is candy or snack next to alcohol or vape displays?
